CAVEDALE

The prestigious Moon Mountain District, located in the Sonoma Valley along the Mayacamas mountain range, is renowned for its rugged terrain and sprawling landscapes. Cavedale is perched on the highest slopes of this mountain and benefits from southwestern sun exposure and cooling breezes from the San Pablo Bay and Petaluma Gap. This combination allows our grapes to ripen while retaining acidity and freshness.

The mineral-rich volcanic soils provide our vines with the nutrients they need to produce grapes with intense flavors and complexity. The unique combination of these factors results in wines that are robust, elegant and truly reflective of the vineyard’s terroir.

Legendary viticulturist Phil Coturri farms this site and is committed to sustainability, ensuring that organic practices foster complexity and harmony in our wines.

This commitment to sustainability not only benefits the environment but also enhances the quality of the grapes, resulting in wines that are pure and expressive.
